Bruce's Story
After ECHS I attended college in WA, CT and CA then was a public school educator (teacher, coach, counselor, administrator) for 37 years, followed by 10 years as the New England admission officer for my undergraduate alma mater, Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. Although I retired in 2015, I continue to read college applications each winter.
I met my wife, Maggie Sullivan, at an Albany, CA dinner party in 1980, and we moved from Pt. Richmond to Maggie's Cape Cod in 1983. We have four kids...Expand for more
, ranging in age from 35-54,, and five grandchildren.
I always thought I would eventually return West but have become a New Englander, enjoying distinct seasons and our home not far from Cape Cod Bay. I like working in my yard, drinking red wine on my deck, and walking and cycling in the woods near our home.
Via Facebook I enjoy keeping in contact with a number of ECHS grads.
My novel, SLOW EDDIE: a Cape Cod story, was re-published in 2014 and is available in paperback and e-book on Amazon.
