Bruce King:  

Not long after high school, I entered the Army (‘67-‘70). I earned my airborne wings and went to OCS to become a commissioned officer. In ‘68, I was sent to join the Special Forces in Vietnam. I was married to Kathy Davis (Glacier ‘67, married from ‘68-‘75). Upon release from service, I entered UW. I graduated with BA in Business in ‘73. I later attended the University of Puget Sound. where I obtained my MBA in ‘83. I married Bren Sailer (Glacier ‘73, married from ‘76 to present). She was an elementary school teacher in the Highline & Tahoma school districts. Bren earned her AA from Green River in ‘76, her BA from the UW in ‘82 and her Masters from Lesley College in ‘85. We had our daughter in ‘79 and our son in ‘85. We raised them in Maple Valley. Both earned their BA... our daughter from WSU and our son from the University of Miami. Our son also graduated from the UW Law School. Our daughter is currently enrolled in a University of Illinois graduate program. ...Expand for more
