Bruce's Story

After MRHS 1970, "Pav" went to Lafayette College in Easton, PA. Played some soccer & tennis and joined Theta Chi. Graduated with BA Math with minor in Education/Psychology in 1974. Hired on as Marketing Rep for IBM DPD in Bethlehem, PA.... and, people stopped calling me "Pav"! Transferred to IBM HQ in Atlanta, GA for Marketing Education staff in 1984. Then, in 1986 moved to Knoxville, TN for a "2 year assignment" as Marketing Manager (but, still here!). In mid 1986, married Dori (with son's Jason, Mat, Nate) who I met when ...Expand for more
I lived in PA. Left IBM with a "18 year buyout" in Summer of 1992 to start my own business. Opened TAKEOUT TAXI, a multi-restaurant marketing and delivery business, in Knoxville in 1993 and in Louisville, KY in 1998. Currently enjoying being a small business owner and "Gramps" to 5 awesome GrandKids. Summer is spent on the many fantastic TVA Lakes or hiking in the Smokies, while winter always includes at least one trip with my "PA Skig Gang" to Utah in January and/or to Washington/Oregon to visit/ski with my younger brother.
