Bruce's Story
Once upon a time, we were all quite young .. El Paso sometimes seems so many years ago and far away, yet shining in the sun just yesterday .. Coldwell in the 5th and 6th grade, many buds and buddesses made and lost when I ended up at Burges, lo, those 4 years .. many friends there also misplaced thru the years or inalterably lost to the Great Beyond .. 3 collujs and finally a girl who stayed, we met in LaLaLand at Cal State Chico (official Playboy mag party skul of the Western World in 1976 or thereabouts .. and quite true, we did party hearty) .. married for 40 years this year with 3 fine young sons who (gulp) are now all into their 30's .. cheesh and double cheesh .. we live on our 4 acres of woodsy besotted bliss in the foothills of Western Maine, surrounded by loons, moose, porcupines, bear, beaver, white tailed deer, raccoons, fox, bald eagles, black cap chickadees and oodles of birds of various multiple other ids .. considering I could have been born in Bangladesh and be currently spending my time ...Expand for more
waiting for the next cyclone while fighting off king cobras, it ain't a bad life .. still whanging away on my acoustic guitar and writing various tunez involving whales, wonder, and whatever .. if you are ever in Beautiful Downtown Maine and looking for someone relatively local to squire you around, look us up .. we are in the phone book, if you can ever find one .. not sure if we are in an app anywhere and why is that? .. computers generally suck anyway, I prefer face to face with folks .. the gray Ford is formally known as Henry51, born the same year as moi .. legend has it he rolled off the assembly line on March 16, my birthday, but that is only local lore made up by someone who also drives it .. a great ride, too, although a tad primitive .. but hey, roll down windows rock! .. well, I could ramble on for the remaining 17,962 characters classmates say I have left, but enough already .. you get the drift .. life is still good and with reincarnation around the bend, hopefully will continue to be so (<:
