Bruce's Story

Life I went to Earlscourt school until the end of grade 4 and then to Maurice Cody Public School, NTCI & Manor Road Church. We moved to Elliot Lake (Northern Ontario) in 2000. ADRIENNE PASSED AWAY IN 2002. I have since remarried and Gloria and I are still living in Elliot Lake. Life is good. We have both been active in local amateur theatre since arriving here. We took a bit of a sabbatical for awhile, but are right back into it. A friend is producing "Sound of Music" April 2008. Gloria is Costume Designer & Wardrobe Manager. I am Stage Manager. It will run for 10 performances, with 4 matinees for schools only at a reduced price. We are running 2 complete casts because of the number of performances. IT WILL BE A SELLOUT. All profits go to our Theatre Improvement Fund. I am Chairman of the Management Board for our Civic Centre, which houses the local theatre. Gloria was originally from New Liskeard. We both love it up here, but enjoy a trip to T.O. occasionally. 2013 Moved to Kitchener May 1st. t a beautiful Hi-Rise Apartment and ar...Expand for more
e thoroughly loving it. There is activity and life that Elllot Lake no longer had for us AND we are near the family After 3 1/2 years in Kitchener, we decided to move back north and were happy with our decision. Unfortunately, Gloria was only able to enjoy a couple of years back up north. She passed away unexpectedly in March 2018. I moved back south a few months later and live in Pickering with my daughter Karin and her husband Martin. So, I'm not too far away from Agincourt where I raised my daughters. I enjoy singing Karaoke and having a couple of beers and am anxious to get back to that once this Covid-19 is over. My Kids: I have 2 Daughters, Sherri and Karin. Sherri is married and living in Barrie with husband and 3 daughters. Karin got married in Pickering June 2007. It was a beautiful day all round. My Job I worked at Kodak Canada in Sales and Marketing for 30 years, took early retirement in '87 and started a 2nd. career in residential real estate, which I pursued for 13 years. We retired in November 2000 and moved north.

Sure makes me look good.
Apparently this is what I will look like at 90. It's not only wine that improves with age.

Are people being paid to stay at home?
This is especially for Martin who is always posting food pics. This is courtesy of Kings Buffet.
