Bruce's Story
Life
Lived mostly in S.W. as one of the original members of the "Main Street Gang" (you people know who we were) until I quit school in my senior year. Joined the USAF, went to Turkey as a telephone man until the war ended (72-74). Got out and ended up in NH married, divorced, and married again. Still here working on telephones for the last 50years. Been in and out of about a handful and a half of various bands playing bass. Still ride Harleys. Got a pilots license, Became a JP in NH.
In retrospect I think that I would have done things slightly different. Probably applied myself a little hard...Expand for more
er in school and partied less. Although I miss my youth, I think I'm enjoying life now. I try to avoid S.W. like the plague because it depresses me to go back and see the sleepy little farm town that I grew up in plowed under and paved over. All the tobacco barns and tobacco fields are gone. Everything in that town is a distant memory and I miss the innocents of it all. That and getting older and burying your friends and their families don't make for good reasons to come back for a visit. So that's my 2 cent bio for now. Say goodnight and don't forget to turn the lights out as you leave.
