Bruce's Story
Well I liked Nelson so much I graduated twice, then attended Mc Master followed by Waterloo (B. Math), then Western (MBA). Worked in Ottawa early '70's ,taught marketing at Carleton and on to Burlington until '79. With the energy boom of the late '70's we moved on to Calgary (now 38 years) raised 2 children. You may remember Mary Johnston whom I married in 1970 , still together. Both of us retired,my self twice .We spend time traveling
to visit our daughter, a musician, or enjoying the warmth and golf in California.Our son is in Calgary or travels to the far east where he worked and lived for 5 years. Hard to believe its more than 50 years since Nelson. Still reside in Calgary even though last ...Expand for more
summer was quite smoky. All the best to everyone who reads this. As an update we have been resident in Calgary in the pandemic, no visits to California for more than 2 years. Hopefully we will be in CA soon. We travelled there in June to attend to our condo there. It was quite hot 85F to 115F. Golfed in the morning.Calgary has been snowy and cold this past winter. I try to keep busy by working out and getting ready for golf. Mary has been spending time with our new granddaughter for a number of months as her mother is on maternity leave and staid with us in Calgary but headed back to the National orchestra in Ottawa in March. .
