Bruce's Story
Life
I retired in 2005 after 32 years of state service - Camarillo State Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician, Recreation Therapist, and Special Ed. Teacher I also worked at the California Youth Authority for four years as a Teacher and a brief stint (4 years) as a Resource Specialist at Rio Mesa High School here in Oxnard. I now backpack with buddies, garden, bike, and plan to take up kayaking. I travel a little , mostly in the US, and have worked with Habitat...Expand for more
in Guatemala and in Slidell, LA and Biloxi MS.My three daughters are out of the house and employed (whew) and my wife and I live simply and quietly. I still like rock n roll music mainly 60's and 70's and like most all music except opera and hardcore country. I stay busy with volunteer work (Scouting, Habitat for Humanity, Foodshare and church) and help in the local elementary schools two days a week. I guess I'm still a child of the 60's in many respects. Peace!
