Bruce's Story
Life
I wasn't able to graduate with my class due to my parents being ill. But I still have alot of fond memories of many old friends. I retired from the Army in 96 and presently live in Cumberland, MD employed with the state as a Assistant Director at a Youth Facility for the Dept of Juvenile Services. Married to the former Christine Szczesny of Carteret. Two boys (30& 26), one serving in the Army, and one still trying to find himself. Presently the light of my life is my grandson, Nicholas. (9)

my taking care of my mother daily who was bedridden. After some rough times at home, I join the army (1st time) 67-70. I was a Military Police dog handler. Very interesting job at the time. A little hairy in Vietnam. Got out in 70 and went to work in a factory in Carteret. That was followed by working for a soda equipment installer. In 1976 my Mom and Dad died so, I re-entered the army where I stayed until 1996, retiring as a First Sergeant in the Military Police Corps. I'm presently an Assistant Director for the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services working at a youth center for juvenile offenders in western Maryland. Oh, I got married in 1972 and we're still together. Have two sons, 31&27, and one grandson(10) who has brought much joy in my life at this time.
