Bruce's Story

to DeVry for a year and then to GVSU where I was in the second graduating class in 1968. With a Biology major I taught school in Saranac, MI, Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan before moving to Norfolk VA where, after teaching for two years and not feeling like I "fit" took a job with CRC Home Missions working with young military men for 7 years. Then our family moved to NJ where I helped develop a ministry to single adults and also started a counseling center. In 1998 we moved to Chicago where I was the director of the Chicago Christian Counseling Center for 13 years.
Formally retired April 26, 2011.
Driving RVs around the country a couple times a month. Once Marty retires in June of 2012, we'll figure out where to volunteer for a few months out of a year - together.".
