Bruce's Story
Life:
I lived on the Oregon coast for 30 years but decided to relocate to Bend Oregon in 2005.... but I never made it there, settling instead in Portland. My daughter Jesse and 12 year old grandson Gabriel also live in PDX; son Josh lives here in town nearby, works at New Seasons Mkt and subs at Jesuit High... youngest son Joey graduated from Western Oregon U. [formerly OCE] and is now working at the Parry School in SE PDX and playing rugby for the Portland Pigs Rugby Club.

r in the maintenance dept and practice buddhist mindfulness meditation.... which comes in handy at times.... I am currently living in a condo in Lake Oswego -- the home of poet William Stafford. During the summers, I work in various locations in the Cascade Mountains restoring fire lookouts.... come up to Gold Butte LO near Detroit Lake or Sand Mountain LO near HooDoo Ski Bowl and see what we are up to..... it gets you "high".
