Bret's Story
After High School I started working full time for the Florida Department of Transportation were I stumbled in to land surveying. I spend 10 years working outside before I was moved into the office in 1998, and I miss get to go out in the field and work on those cool spring and fall days. I managed to pass the states surveying exam and got my surveying and mapping license in 2002. We moved from the Deltona / DeLand area in 2006 to Tallahass...Expand for more
ee area so I could further my career with the FDOT.
I got married in 1993, had one child, Kelsey, and got divorced in 2000. I was awarded custody of my daughter in the divorce. I met my fiancée, Bonnie in 2001. I was amazed that she was willing to move away from everything that we knew when I was offered the position in Tallahassee. This brings you up todate with what has happened since high school.
