We were the first graduating class to go all the way through 4 years. I was was an ASB officer, Publicity Chairman. Went on to college at Biola college but dropped after a year. Was in the band and played the clarinet in band. Had a brother 2 years behind me at Pioneer. He was a hell raiser! Went to Calvary Baptist church with Jerry & Gene Herbert. Jerry was our president when I held office. Ran around with Karen Bridges who married a marine. Went with Ken Cates who was 2 years older than me. We did marry in 1968 while he was in the Navy. He made a career with the navy so travelled to many places. Married then went to Puerto Rico for 2 years. My daughter Kim was born there. She just turned 42, married with 2 boys and has a great husband. Went to Maryland for Ken to go to school. Between tours always came back to Calif. We then went to Midway Island which is about 1,000 miles from Hawaii. Midway is only a 2 square island which why you can go to Hawaii free which we did several times. My second daughter was born on Miday Island-Deborah who is now 38, divorced with a girl and boy. We then came back to good old Calif and stationed in San Diego. Bought a house and was never going to leave! My third daughter was the only child born in the USA! Sherie is 34, has 4 kids (3 girls & 1 boy) and a wonderful hubby. Stayed in San Diego for 5 years and Ken had make rank several times. When he made Senior Chief he got orders to London, England. No way was I staying home! Saw everything in England. Neat place but waaaaay too cold! Neat place to visit. No, didn't have any more kids! We didn't really want to come back to Cali...Expand for more
