Bryan's Story
Life
Immediately following high school I drifted (both mentally and physically) for a few years. Eventually, I got my act together and enrolled at Troy State University on a debate scholarship. I graduated from Troy with BachelorÂs Degrees in Communication and Political Science. Upon graduation, I worked in several political campaigns before returning to graduate school at Auburn University. While at Auburn I met my future wife, Lainie, and earned a Master of Arts degree in Political Science. After getting married Lainie and I moved to New Orleans where I worked as a lobbyist for Bailey Political Consulting, representing primarily insurance industry clients. office of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), the worldÂs largest owner and operator of acute care for-profit hospitals. For seven years I worked in Nashville as HCA's Eastern Group Director of Government Relations. In early 2004 I relocated to Tallahassee, Florida and was promoted to Vice-President of Government Relations. In my current role I oversee the companyÂs lobbying efforts on federal and state legislative issues. Over the years I have worked on numerous state legislative and Congressional campaigns and previously served as an aide to Alabama Governor Guy Hunt.
Lainie and I were married on December 18, 1993. Lainie is a stay-at-home Mom to our two beautiful daughters, Reagan (born 10/27/97) and Courtney (born 2/2/02).
