Bryan's Story

Well let's start off with that on June 17, 2008 I retired from 23 years of teaching and administration in the California public school system. My wife of 40 year (1968) and I moved from California to Mesa, AZ where we have owned a house for 3 years. We are 99% done doing a total remodel. After graduation I want to the University of Cincinnati and in 1969 got my BS in PE, the very next day I began graduate work at West Virginia University, while teaching at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, WV, and in 1971(?) I got my MA in Education. In 1973 we moved to Richmond, KY where I attended Eastern Kentucky University receiving my MS in Recreation Administration in 1974. I began working for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in th...Expand for more
e state parks system. In January of 1977 we were blessed with our first child, Kristopher, whom we tragically lost in a motorcycle accident in May of 2002, age 25. We moved to Palm Springs, California in January of 1978 and in May of 1979 we had our second child, Scott. I worked for the City of Palm Springs for 7 years and then went back into teaching. I was a Middle School teacher and administrator during those 23 years until my retirement. Since retiring I go to NASCAR races a year in Phoenix, fly-fish as often as I can and believe it I substitute teach at a Junior High School less than a mile from our home (I do that to keep me from going completely crazy.) That's about it! I would love to hear from some of you! Bryan
