Bryan's Story
Life
Like many these days, I am a single parent. Things don't always work out as we plan, welcome to life. On the bright side, I got custody of my children so that keeps me on my toes and out of trouble. I have been bouncing all over since Brookwood. Out of school, I entered the military and served as an Airborne/ Ranger in the Army's 231st infantry divison and then was assigned as a Spec. Ops Scout for an Intellegence Agency. After the military I settled in Montgomery Alabama and I'm now living in Wetumpka AL,(where's Snellville,where's Wetumpka) it's a quiet area with good schools and we love it. I have worked as the Lead tech. at a local company for the last 16 years and enjoy my job. I spend alot of time outdoors,(hiking, climbing and camping)Shae, my oldest, hates it outdoors. Military
I spent almost 5 years in the Army after leaving Brookwood. The Army loves it when they get hold of someone that can survive most anywhere and shoot the eyes out of a squirrel at 100 yards. I learned alot about myself and did well by their standards. Airborne/ Ranger status, a Presidential Commendation, 2 Meritous Service Awards and many other awards later, I realized that the politics and pay left much to be desired. Also, I wanted my kids to have a more normal (non-military) life. Like High School, I wouldn't change the experience, just wanted something more out of life. End of 1990 I was civilian again and started a new career.
