Bryan's Story
Sports like football,Baseball,some basketball.I like to watch and go to Nascar races.I also go to local tracks.Go-Karts are great one of my sons race. He has a Yamaha 100cc highly tuned kart.It is fast and he only started last year and won his first race.He was winning his second and last for the season when a plastic side areo piece came off and he was blacked flagged with three laps to go.He always just run away from the other karts.I was excited and proud.
My biggest life change or surprise was an automobile accident.It changed my life forever.I broke my neck and puntured my spinal cord at the C-8 nerve.I was paralyzed for...Expand for more
a couple of months and have been through alot of therapy and a lot of pain-chronic pain.That happened in 2006 and I am out of my electric wheelchair and pretty much out of my manual wheelchair.I most generally walk with a cane.My left hand is still paralyzed and my right foot is too.I wear a brace on my right foot to raise my foot so I don't trip on every step.I still have no feeling on the bottom of my right arm and bottom two fingers.Those fingers on the inside hurt constantly,it can flare up so bad that I go get Stellate Block shots in my neck.Joy. Joy.I will recover and not let it get the best of me.I get better every day.
