More about Bryon:"Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past ~ stop planning the future ~ stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel ~ stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel ~ Sometimes we just have to go with "WHATEVER HAPPENS - HAPPENS” "I was born in Columbus Ohio where I lived briefly in Dayton for six years. My father, John D. Harrison was an air force sergeant(Vietnam) who at the time of my birth was stationed there. My mother, Dorothy H. Harrison was a teacher and a house wife. I moved to Texas to a small town called Tehuacana which is about 6 miles from Mexia and 30 miles from Waco. There with my mother and my baby sister (Danielle Mellissa Rene Harrison) we resided with my Grandmother (Jesse Mae Hall) while my father took up an engineering position with Texas Instruments in Dallas where he lived so he could take care of us. Not having my ol' man around consistently during those child years was rough but I understood that my mom wanted to take care of her mother while my dad had to be in the city to provide for us since there weren’t too many great jobs where we were living unless you were a farmer or into landscaping or took up a position at The Mexia State School. I still don’t know how they did it but love, devotion and respect is a powerful thing if a relationship possesses that. My grandmother died when I was 13 and it was time for my dad’s family to take up residence in Garland (a suburb of Dallas) where I live to this day. I went to North Garland High School where my interests were skate boarding and basketball. I didn’t take basketball too seriously until I graduated and continued my education at Richland College. I played 2 years for the Thunderducks under Coach Paul Baldwin capturing my sophomore year “ALL CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM.” My father died of cancer at the age of 56. I wa...Expand for more
s 21. Our family's first baby blessing came when Dani (my baby sister) gave birth to a son, Tre'von David Boles. Love that kid as if he was my own. I had my first child, also a son whom I named after myself. The relationship was not the best situation therefore it was never pursued but none the less having a son is a very proud moment for me. I continued my education at The University Of Texas at Dallas as well as being a part of their first men’s basketball program as their starting forward under UTD's first head coach, Raymond Farrell. UTD only got better when I met Kathleen Llauder. Fell in love, got married and had my second child, Brianna Skye Harrison, all in the year 2000. Kat and I lived in a small apt in Garland then later moved to Plano. On Dec. 18 of 2001 Kat was taking lil Bryon to school when she was involved in a tragic car accident. Though lil Bryon came out un-scaved my wife of only 2 years (together 4) passed away from her injuries that morning. Since education was important to Kat and she never got to graduate because she chose her family first I decided to go back and finish for the both of us. Graduated from both Richland and UTD (where we both attended). During the time of completing my educating I had my third child Natalia Rayne Harrison. Though the relationship never evolved I managed to win joint custody in court and I’m heavily involved in her life. My mother, Skye and I have a house in Garland where my family is reunited every other weekend. Crazy story huh? It's just life and everyone has a different road to travel. Regardless to what some would think....my journey has been a blessing and I still have miles to go. Bryon Kaycee Harrison I Aka Hollywood The two Poems I wrote tattooed on my forearms. DARK CLOUD (right forearm) The more years fly by, the heavier my heart gets. My body feels so cold, my veins course with regret. I reach to the sky, the clouds are dark and dead. I ask for my pain to be lifted, Instead my clouds rain red. CLEAR SKIES (left forearm) Time heals wounds, yet my scars are still there. My heart still beats, as I take in fresh air. I had walked the earth blind, but now I can see. If it weren't for my children, I could never breathe.".
