Buddy's Story
Life
I graduated from Georgia Tech in 1978 and entered into the cellular and paging industry. Worked for some of the bigger names (Arch, BellSouth and Pactel) before applying to the FCC for broadcast frequencies and starting my own company in 1990. Sold it in 1996 and now enjoy a life of rental properties, travel, magazine publishing and the music business.
Started a music magazine, called "Hittin' the Note" (inspired by the Allman Brothers Band of our High School era), in 1992. You can find it in Borders, Bar...Expand for more
nes and Noble, Hastings, etc. We also record live concerts by the Allman Brothers Band and sell them on our website along with ABB Archival recordings (like Dick's Pick's for the Grateful Dead) as well... check out the website at hittinthenote.com.
Met my wife, Vicky, in 1980 and we will celebrate our 25th anniversary this summer of 2008. No kids, so I get to be the big kid most of the time!
We still live in Atlanta near Northridge and Hwy 400 and are really looking forward to seeing everyone at our reunion!
