After graduating from Midland High, I joined the U.S. Marines and spent the next 20 years around the globe. I was in Viet Nam twice, attained the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant (E9) and retired in January 1980. 7 years as the Far East Divemaster in charge of all diving operations for all 4 military services on Okinawa.
I also spent 9+ years in the Far East, Hong Kong, Korea, P.I., Taiwan and Hawaii. After the Corps, I went into international business and have lived/worked in Kuwait, Peru, Caribbean, Mexico, P.R., Greece and England.
