Buddy's Story
After graduating from WFSH I attended U.T. Austin, Midwestern U. Wichita Falls, Tx., Graduated from Southwestern Bible College, B.S.; T.C.U. Brite Divinity,
M. Div.; University of St. Thomas, M. Th.; Luther Rice, D. Min.; Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor (Board), AAPC.
I pastored and founded churches, lectured through out Europe and U.S. in churches, on college campuses; taught college courses, i.e.,psychology, theology, philosophy, etc.
Presently: Counsulting churches, pastors, small businesses, directing a regional Christian network (pastors, businessmen/women), contributing columnist (Ask Dr. B.) for a local news paper, I direct a compassion ministry (Somebody Cares Humble) which assists needy individuals facing crisis, Administrating a Compassion Fund for a Fortune 500 Company, compiling research on various subjects, i.e., revivals that changed the world, completing manuscripts for three perso...Expand for more

(I recently told my wife that I was going to get a job in order to rest.)
My wife (Carolyn Morrow Hicks) and I have been married 48 years. We have three adult children and two grandchildren. My oldest daughter is an executive assistant to an executive vice president of a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Kingwood, TX, My youngest daughter and her husband are pastoring a church in Humble, TX, and my son is a senior researcher for a U. S. Senator.
Fifty two years I committed my life to Jesus Christ and surrendered to the call to the ministry. I believe this was the most intelligent decision I have ever made. My life has been exciting and rewarding. I owe it all to the One who holds all things together. Psalms 42:1
