Mary's Story
After graduating from high school, I got a job at Wayne State University as an Administrative Assistant and went to school at night. I continued working there for seven years, never finished my degree, got married in 1960 to the love of my life, who I am still married to after more than 50 years. rnia where we lived for five years and then moved back to Michigan.We were in the restaurant and catering business for many years. My husband was a chef. After our kids were somewhat grown,I went to work for EDS, a subsidiary of General Motors,as a business analyst, from where I retired in 1996. We are both retired now and have traveled extensively all over the world.
