Burley's Story
Currently, I work as a School Counselor at The Charter School for Applied Technologies, Kenmore, NY I begin my second year tomorrow (3/13/08). I formerly worked at Canisius HS, Buffalo from 1996-2006.
What I have experienced since graduation from LSC would take up too much space and too much of your time. So in a nutshell- after graduation from LSC I obtained my BS in Communications & Media Relations from SUNY Fredonia in 1978. f Public Communication in 1981. I subsequently worked in public relations, public affairs, advertising and marketing positions at agencies and corporations in New York City. By 1986, having had enough of the Manhattan "pressure cooker" my wife Joy and I returned to WNY. We both worked in business (primarily banking) for a number of years.
In 1994 I decided to make a career change into education by entering Canisius College's
Counseling Education program. I graduated with an MS in 1996 and was offered employment at Canisius HS. See above.
