David Burnett:  

Attended Joel E. Ferris High in Spokane in 1965 and early 1966, then moved to Guam, where I went to John F. Kennedy High (now torn down to build a new high school). In 1968, we moved to Vandenberg AFB in California, where I finished my senior year at Cabrillo High. After graduating from Cabrillo High in 1969, I occasionally showed up at Southern California College (now Vanguard University) in Costa Mesa. Dropped out in 1970. Married Becky (see photo) in 1971. Went back to school at the University of Idaho in 1973 and graduated in Economics in 1977. Tried graduate school at Washington State University, but dropped out to join the Foreign Service in 1978.
