Mike's Story
Hello Everyone,
After college I found myself teaching 1st grade in Detroit for a year or so. I then taught 5th grade on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. After that I worked a two year stint teaching Kindergarten in the Appalachian Mt. in N. Carolina. I found myself in Key West FL in the early 80s where I lived about three years and met my future wife who followed me to Ft. Myers Beach. . Ft. Myers to raise my son and two wonderful step-sons.
I retired last year after 30 years teaching elementary children in the Lee County School system. Now I trade currency futures in the morning and fish and swim in the afternoons. My son attends Florida State as a freshman and hopes to enter into Marine Biology.
It sure is fun to see so many names from the past. I hope all my friends have had rich and rewarding lives and I would love to hear your stories, as well.
