Rosemary's Story

I attended William Tell Elementary 1961-1967. Patterson Park Annex on Eastern Ave. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec. 1967 then I transfered to North Point Jr. High. I went to North Point 68 and 69. I then Transfered to Perry Hall Jr. High. I went to Mervo in Sept. Oct. Nov. Of 1971 and then Transfered to Perry Hall Senior High. In Sept. Of 1973, I transfered to Poly-Western High School. I quit School in Nov. and got a job at a shoe factory on Eastern Ave. in Baltimore City. I met My Husband the first week of Jan. 1974 and got married March 1, 1974. I have been married 34 years. I remember as a kid going to Porters Beach. Watching fire works at Fort McHenry, going to Patterson Park to watch my dad play baseball. Family dinners and visiting relatives. Diner on Rt. 40 in White Marsh. I started working there in 1971, a week before I turned 16. I got paid 1.19 an hour to wait on custumors and what ever else needed to be done. It's funny what I remember the most is the music on the Juke Box, and the things the regular customers ordered. My boss, Bert Hartnet was a really good lady. The best memories in high school were going to Saturday night dances and listening to Friendship Frigate. I hope someone will read this and have some of the same memories. The best thing that ever happened in my life was meeting Bill, having my children, Billy, Malisa, Patricia, and James. The birth my grandson, Matthew. The worst thing that ever hgappened to me was the death of my 14 year old son, Billy, in 1989. I look to the future for peace and to grow old gracefully.
