Burrell (Gene)'s Story

After graduating high school I went on to get my degree at Central Institute of Technology, then got married to my high school sweetheart (Phyllis Harbison). Moved to Albuquerque, NM where I became an Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories. We adopted twin newborn baby boys and eventually built a home in the Sandia mountains overlooking Albuquerque. God was good to me and put me with a team of very smart people and we have 5 patents relating to Lasers and Solar Cells. A few years ago I retired and...Expand for more
moved to Springfield, MO to take care of my aging parents, Not long after that, both my parents and my wife passed away. However, the story is not over. I later met a beautiful, gorgeous lady (Paula Bogart) whom I fell in love with and eventually married. Paula is the former Dean of Women at SBU here in Missouri and has a wonderful, large family I am still getting to know. Life is good and we are having a wonderful time seeing what God has planned for our future. (long, long, long future, I hope)
