I go by the name Alex now since I came out as a transgendered male many years ago. I wasn't happy for a long time,especially in high school...living a lie will do that..but I've been blessed with friends and family who accept me and love me as I am. And I have managed to keep my sense of humor,even after losing both of my parents(one to lung cancer and the other,dementia,a type of Alzheimer's).I cared for my...Expand for more
mother during the last few years of her life,and she was lucky enough to pass away at home, the way she wanted,surrounded by loved ones. Now,I spend my time playing guitar,flute,clarinet,trumpet,saxophone,piano,tinwhistle,you name it...I can get a pleasant sound out of most every musical instrument !I also like to finish guitar bodies,build wooden ships,draw,paint, and spend time w/my 3 cats. No complaints here!
