Life
After Banning, I didn't think college was for me so I went to dental assisting school, graduated, and got a job w/ a dentist I really enjoyed working for. Then I reconnected with a past love, Shannon Peacock W'69, and we married nine months later. I quit working a year after that to start our family, first our daughter Shawna, and then three years later, our son Christopher. We have been happily married fifty years!!! I went back to school in 1994 to earn my certification and degree in American Sign Language. oved up to the college level and worked 20 yrs as a student service advisor for students with disabilities, but also use my ASL interpreting skills since we have a large population of deaf/hard of hearing students. My specialty is Learning Disabilities though. I retired four years ago, yippee! Our son has blessed us with a granddaughter, Marina and a grandson Tyler. Shannon and I love being grandparents. We also love Disneyland, movies, traveling, and long walks together. We've lived in Redondo Beach since we married, raised great kids here, and life has been good to us. We are thankful for God's many blessings and hope our fellow classmates have fared as well.
