Buster's Story
For those of you who really remember me, my occupation has to be the most surprising. After a few years of marriage and 10 years working with the Department of Mental Retardation, I returned to Francis Marion and got my Master's degree in Teaching Learning Disabilities and I'm now in my 13th year of teaching Special Education. This will be my 11th year at good old Hartsville High. As a matter of fact, my class room is the same room I had Algebra III in my senior year under Mrs. Joy Smith. I'm telling you, there are ghosts in that room! lol.

I had a great run, retiring with a won-loss record of 106 - 9 over that period. I gave it up to watch my son run track his senior year last year. I'm also entering my third year as the varsity Cross Country Head Coach.
In three short years I'll be retiring from all of it though.
I have two children, Rebekah (20) and Brad (18). Both are attending the University of South Carolina. Rebekah is majoring in pre-law and wants to become an attorney, while Brad is majoring in Graphic/Media Arts.
I've been married to the same woman, Margaret Cox, for 26 years. We're both looking forward to the "empty nest" syndrome this fall!
