Robert "Butch"'s Story
Life
Graduated from the U of A in 1972 with a degree in Ag. Economics. Married Pat Berry in 1971 (Marana class of '69 - U of A Nursing class of '73). Two children, Christa Marie born March 4, 1974 and Robert Dale III, born August 26, 1975. Christa graduated from ASU in 1999 w/degree in business finance, she then received a Masters in Finance from Colorado State University in 2006, works for IBM in Boulder, Co. married, one son, Tyler, born December 7, 2007. Dale graduated from ASU in 2001 w/ Masters in Aero-Space Engineering. Working for Orbital Sciences in Chandler. Married, one daughter. My granddaughter graduated from ASU in 2015 with a degree in Computer Science. She has accepted a position with American Express and will be moving to England this fall to begin her job. While in England, she plans on starting school for her Masters Degree. Pat and I divorced in 1997, remain good friends. She lives in Huntington Beach, CA and is the COO of a hospital there. , 2000 and I am currently managing Pinal Gin in Stanfield. I bought a house in Oro Valley (N/W Tucson). On March 15, 2005, on Kauai in the Hawaiian islands, I married Pat Duncan, who I dated in high school. Her maiden name was Degrazia and she went to school in Eloy and is a cousin of Sandra and Brenda Tedder. Would love to hear from any of you that read this.
School
Went to NAU after graduation from Marana. Stayed one year and transferred to U of A. Changed major from Aerospace Engineering to Agriculture and graduated in class of '72.
Workplace
After graduation from college, worked for a bank in Tucson for two years and then went to work for Producers Cotton Oil Company managing cotton gins in Yuma. Worked there from 1974-1988 then moved to Phoenix and went to work for Chickasha Cotton Oil Company from 1988-1997 managing cotton gins in the Casa Grande area. Took some time off and then went to work at Trico Gin in Marana from 1999 until 2008, at the present time, I manage the Pinal Gin located in Stanfield, Az.
