after graduation.I moved to Fl.in 1978.I worked at a drug store for a year, then at a factory. Then I got tired of working inside so I got a job working for a nursery.I worked there until the owner passed away and they where moving to a different town.Then I started to work at a Little General Store, pumping gas, then I started as a cashier for them until the late hours of the night.Then one day sbout a week after we had a hurricane hit us.(my first one) Hurricane David. I was at a restauant with some friends. When this hot guy came over to our table.He knew one of the guys I was with. They both worked together across the road from where I was working at the time. Anyway, the guy Steven asked if I was hooked up with anyone, to his friend from work.He told him that I was just ending a relationship.So Steven came in the store and asked me out to dinner. I said yes.This was in Oct.1979.We went out every night after this. The funny part was when I first saw him. I believed him to be a redneck. To my surpise he came from NH. He had come to Fl to see his Dad and then was going to work on the oil rigs. He changed his mind and asked me to marry him in Nov. of 1979. We got married Feb. 23rd. 1980. We had our first child in Nov. 1983. A girl. (Steve already had a son from his first marriage.) Then in June of 1986 we had a son. Before the children came along I had gone to college and got a degree in banking. Steve got a job working for Pratt&Whitney, building jet engines and parts to the first space shuttle. I retired from banking for 9 months to stay home with our daughter. Then I returned to the Bank for one year. After that year. I was able to stay home. Then like I said before our son was born. I stayed home until he started kindergarten. I started doing little things to help at their school. Then I was offered a job to help teach.
