Life as of September 2010 Third (and last) marriage. Three children, one son (from first), and two daughters (from second), and two step-children, one daughter and one son from third and current wife. Eight grandchildren Three girls and one boy ranging from 21-8 years from older daughter, and boy and girl, 12 years and 8 years stepson. One granddaughter from son born 6/4/05, and one grandson from stepdaughter born 6/20/05. Two great-grandsons from oldest granddaughter. Worked at DDO (Utah Army Depot then) after graduation from August to November 1963. Joined Army in November 1963. Basic at Ft. Ord, CA. Heavy equipment shool at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. 1.5 years at Ft. Wolters, TX, one year in Vietnam, 6 months at Ft. Sill, OK. Came back home and worked at DDO for 12 years while cramming a 4-year degree in geology into 8 years. Graduated from WSC in 1978, and worked in the oilfield for about 4 years in Gilette, WY, Houston,TX, and Williston, ND. Came back to DDO for one year. Hired on with the Bureau of Land Management as a geologist in November 1983, retired as a hazardous materials coordinator in Phoenix, AZ. Duty stations with BLM include Fillmore, UT, Phoenix, AZ for 4-month training and met third wife Carol, back to Fillmore, then Las Vegas, NV, Battle Mountain, NV, and Phoenix, AZ. Lived in Phoenix since 7/89. Retired from BLM on January 3, 2005 after 37 years (don't recall even being that old) Federal service. Moved to Kanab, UT in March 2005. Wife Carol retired from BLM January 3, 2007 with 28 years service. Next move will be to the grave. If I had one do-over, I would work really hard to make my first marriage a success.
