Mitzi's Story
School
Gee, I'm not so sure I would want to share all this stuff here.Biggest crush...hmmm... I'd definitely have to think on that one.
There are a few teachers who I still have high regards for and who helped me alot, and in many ways. Mostly the help came in the way of making me feel I was important and that I mattered, I think as teens people don't always feel or act as though they are important or matter. Of course if I had it to do over again, I probably would do the same, unless of course, I knew then what I know now then I would definitely do things differently. HA !! But overall, I am quite happy with myself and my schooling. I would like to be smarter and better educated. My life is not over I am still learning, and educating myself in many areas. I am just not finished learning yet. Hopefully I never will be.
College
Well, I did not graduate college.
I did not go away to college.
I went part time, got a job, then eventually quit school.
I have been back a few times over the years to study in a few areas
(labor studies, psychology, and some general ed.)
I have yet to get a degree.
No unique roommates or strange teachers,or all niters. Mostly just run of the mill type of stuff.
Workplace
I have worked in various electron...Expand for more
ic and assembly type jobs.
the three most interesting were
1) t-shirt printing,
2) turkey factory (live turkeys go in, packaged turkeys to be frozen go out).
3) Horticulture technician ( I basically took care of plants )
The longest job I have ever had is my current job .
I have been working for the USPS for 23 years.
I am a Letter Carrier.
Military
I have never served in the military.
I fully support, admire, and respect all who have.
I thank each and everyone who has served from the bottom of my heart.
I thank them for my freedom ,their bravery, and selflessness.
It is the most courageous and honorable job anyone could have. They should be immensely proud of their selves.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a funny idea. As it turns out, they were cool.
I go for walks, read ,cook, play games ;-)
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, breakfast, and scripture to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan are my heroes. They both overcame great odds ,never gave up,had alot of hope. They were people who the world had given up on and threw away ,yet they were extremely important and valuable,as well as terrific human beings!!!
