I WENT TO NICHOLLS STATE UNIVERSITY TO PLAY FOOTBALL. WHEN I GOT THERE IT WAS MORE WORK THAN FUN AND I STAYED ONE SEMESTER. AFTER RETURNING TO SOUTHERN I STAYED IN SCHOOL FOR THREE YEARS UNTIL I GOT HIRED BY THE STATE POLICE

Y. I THOUGHT IT WAS ONE OF MY FATHER'S FRIENDS. HE WAS RETIRED ARMY, 20 YEARS. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT THEY WERE THERE FOR ME. DADDY HAD DECIDED THAT THE BEST WAY TO PAY FOR COLLEGE WAS FOR THE NATIONAL GUARD TO PAY FOR IT AND HE HAD DONE ALL THE RESEARCH. 2 DAYS AFTER GRADUATION I WAS ON A PLANE TO FT. MCCLELLAND, AL.
