Byron (Whitey)'s Story
Well after leaving High School, I thought I would like to see the world. I joined the Navy, in 71, and started my new adventure. I started with just a 4 year term, but loved it so much, and had so much fun, I didn't leave until I retired in 1992. I have to say, that if it had not been for the father of 2 of my high school friends, ( Vicky and Linda Morris ) I might not have enjoyed the Navy as much. His stories just made me want to see and do more, with my life. Bless you Bill, and thank you.
After the Navy, I became a Corrections officer. lol I know most of my friends, wonder how I was able to not only stay out of prison, but got a job, with the prison. Well I did, and had fun with it.
I have been married for 35 years ( as of 4/17/11 ) with 2 step daugh...Expand for more
ters, 5 grand children, and 2 great grand children.
My life has had a lot of ups and downs, but have learned so much about how to live, both on the edge, and safe.
I am now living on a small ( 350 acre) ranch just outside of Kingman Az. I have my own fishing pond filled with bass, crappy, bluegill, and catfish. So now, I try to spend as much time, with my friends and family, fishing, and relaxing around a camp fire, kicking back a few drinks. To me, it is a good life. ..... Well just had to move to Kingman, due to medical reasons. I am leaving Classmates soon, but you can always find me on FB under Byron Lindsay. Just make sure you remind me how I know you, My memory is going quick. They say you never forget your first sex. Well I think I beat the odds. lol
