Byron's Story
For those who wouldl like to know:
After I retired from teaching, I became the Minister of Music and Christian Education at Wtatt Park Christian Church. That job evolved into an Assistant Pastor role. I decided to accept an opportunity to buy a business. That went well and I eventually owned and managed 4 businesses. I am retired and spend my time with New Generation Singers, now in their 45th year and retired from my barbershop singers responsibilties. I no longer travel internationally to teach musical directors and no longer Chair their International membership committee with responsibilities for all of North America. I'm sure you realize that includes Canada.

e New Generation continue to be planning and booking their annual tour. We are heading West again this year. KS...CO...UT....CA...AZ...NM...TX....OK...Springfield MO....Then....Home. I was elected to a seat on the St. Joe City council. The result of that action, I was chosen Deputy Mayor; however, I was not reelected to the Council, but we did pass a no smoking ban. My support in that action was costly in receiving enough votes to continue.
