C.'s Story
Life,
Most of my world is about the children in my life. I am the very proud Mom of 6 biological. And a number of others who call me Mom and I respond to them!!! Some times I feel like I am running a wayward home for teens! Oh the food we go through!!!
My oldest Daughter, Jenn is currently working towards her Master's Degree in Special Education, and will start teaching in the fall. Next daughter, Ashleigh is both attending and working at our local community college, hoping to someday go into Physical Therapy. Next is my son Jack, he just graduated from Bishop McNamara High School, and is planning to attend Ferrum College. HE is planning to play football there as well as possibly go into education. Next is my son Scotty, who is entering his Senior year at Bishop McNamara High School. He also plays football, and just started playing tennis. Then my Daughter, Bobbi who is entering the 7th grade at our local middle school. She is my golden child, everything she touches turns to gold. Last is my caboose, Eric, he is entering the 4th grade at our local elementary schoo...Expand for more
l. He loves the sport of the season, his favorite thus far is baseball.
I am also attending college, hoping to earn an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. Currently I run my own home daycare, where I have 9 children enrolled, ages from 4 months to 12 years. I love, absolutely love running my little daycare, and the children in it!!
Of course we also share our home with pets, today, we have three dogs, three turtles, a couple of fish, a number of snails, and a rabbit.
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but for n ow I like just who I am.. and for the most part I like where I am in my life. There have been some recent health concerns, for now I am tested every three months until either a treatment for the stage of the disorder I am in is discovered, or until the cause reveals itself.(Myleoproliferative Disorder) And as I stated, for now, I am happy with where I am and what I am doing... and thankful for each day I get to feel good!
I love to read, the beach and laugh....oh yes, to laugh!!
Okay, off to take care of my babies!!
