A Brief Bio
Arizona born and raised, I am the only boy in a family of three sisters.
After graduating from R.E. Simpson Elementary in 1962, I attended West Phoenix H.S., graduating in 1966. In 1968, at 19 years of age, I was married to my wife, Fran. In January, 2008, we celebrated 40 years of marriage with a trip to Maui.
God blessed us with four daughters and one son (our youngest). All of the children are adults. Four are married, one divorced.
In the summer of 2009, we welcomed our 15th grandchild (a boy) into our world.
I am a 1972, graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University earning a B.A. Degree in Missions.
Ordained to ministry by the Assemblies of God in 1974, I have served in various pastoral and Bible teaching settings in North Texas, U...Expand for more
tah, and Arizona.
In 1997, I left the A/G to serve as an associate pastor, worship director, and Bible Institute teacher at Scottsdale Worship Center, where Dr. Jim Cornwall was pastor. Jim is the youngest brother of Dr. Judson Cornwall (deceased) and Dr. Iverna Tompkins, International Bible teachers.
A long held desire to return to graduate studies was recently achieved. Raising a family of five kids on a pastorÃÂs income, and the time required working two jobs had prevented such pursuits. Global University provided the opportunity to study online enabling the realization of my dream. In June 2009, I graduated Summa Cum Laude earning a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.
We now attend Living Streams Church, at Central and Glendale Avenues, in Phoenix.
