Cammie's Story
Life
I have absolutely had a wonderful life ( some ups and downs but the ups definatly outweigh the downs!!). I've had the best of friends ( and still do 25+ years later ) and the MOST awsome family. I am truly blessed!! and I still have alot of things left to do in my life, it is not by any means close to being over. As a matter of fact, it is still exciting every single day. I have had the pleasure of raising (with the help of my family ) a beautiful , sweet, sometimes really "teenage" daughter who I love with all my heart and am soooo proud of.She is no longer a teen but an adult and a mother!! She and Jon, her other half, had a beautiful little girl, Lillian Elizabeth Lane, June 26th of 2007.And again on November 7th 2008 my handsome little grandson, Joshua Seven Lane came inot the world.......yep, I am a grandmother.......but not called that. I am " gigi" . A awful young grandmother at 42 yrs. old in Dec. 2007 but I am loving it!!! they are a definate JOY!!!! Right now Clay Phillips ( a high school buddy of mine ) and I are trying to put together this 25 year ( from 1979-1985, well 25 year for me. It is 2009 now ) multi-class reunion. It is coming together great!!! We are going to have a blast.
School
I think in middle school, in El Paso Texas, my hugest crush was on Barry Edwards and Grant Irwin.......high school in E. P., Joe Clere, Grant Irwin, Shane Youngblood, Brian Ward.......and of course the one who was my first " real " love, Marty Kelly ( we dated for a while starting in eighth grade and were even engaged in 1990-92 ). Of course when I moved to Paris, Tennessee in my eleventh grade year, first crush was on Barry Triplett. I dated only a couple of guys while living there then eventually got married to Chris Triplett ( Barry's brother, go figure!...small towns, ha ha ) , we drove to Alaska, lived there approximatly 2 1/2 to 3 yrs. , had my daughter in that time, we had good and bad times , got divorced and now have lived back in El Paso, Texas since March 1988.

ew teachers who really made an impact on me during my school years. Probobly the main on would be my sixth grade teacher, Mr. S. he was really patient and way cool.I actually ran into him at Target a few years back and he remembered me ( or at least he said he did, ha ha ) .
Would I do it over, yes and no, it was a time when I really had no cares but now I know so much more about life and I have the greatest daughter and grandaughter and grandson....and my son in law is...... well, it could be worse.
I have so many crazy memories from El Paso,Tx. - the four wheeling at Red Sands and partying at the River Bed and the rodeos..whew! to the times when there were parties out at the lake and different homes in Paris, Tn. and going out in the middle of the lake to the phone towers , climbing up them and jumping off , boy we didn't think! and then, going to Florida with my best friend Teresa, to Daytona and just having the best time.....to today almost 30 years later and still going.....what a wonderful life!
It's 2009 and each year, every year, I have been able to take a trip back to Paris, Tn. and spend a month or two with some of the best friends I have ever had in my life. I just returned home after a month & three weeks vacation!! Boy, did I need that! Clay Phillips and I had an idea of doing a multi class reunion this year while IMing last Feb. or March, between his expertise on the computer and living close to Paris and my expertise in using my " gift of talking to friends" on the computer , ha ha ha ( NOT!!!) we, in about two or so months got it together and what a terrific time it was seeing friends from years past....it was total enjoyment!! We're talking of having it every year or so....so, those of you who knew and were able to come and for those of you that knew but weren't able to come, keep in mind that it is still in the works and ya'll can come see everyone again or those that could not come, you will have the time to plan on coming for those who need more time to make arrangements.
