Leon's Story
Life
I spent two-years at Sweetwater High School. Then my family moved to Compton. There I spent a little over a semester at Compton High School. Mid-way through my final year of high school we moved to the Los Angeles area where my father purchased a house in an unincorporated area. I finished high school at George Washington HS in LA. Upon graduation, I moved to Chicago and spent a little time with my mother. Then in the fall of that year I went into the Air Force where I served 3 years in Germany. . Upon getting off of active duty I finished college at Loyola Univ of Chgo. While working on my Masters Degree I enrolled in Army ROTC. I've been a health care educator and a substitute school teacher. I'm currently serving at Guantanamo Cuba as a Public Affairs Officer.
Military
While serving in Germany during my intial military obligation, I was stationed a Wunsdorf GAFB.
Since being in the Army Reserves, I have had multiple tours in Germany, Korea and Japan. I have also served in Egypt, Bosnia, Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq and Cuba.
