Candace's Story
After graduating in 1965, I attended Ball State. I then took some time off to have my two wonderful sons. When I went back to Ball State, I was working full-time, attending school part-time and I was also heavily into my kids' activities. During the time I was finishing up my degree, I was a Cub Scout den mother, active in my church, and active in the Southside Band Boosters, even being the President for a couple of years. vorce. I then joined a singles group and had the time of my life. It was nothing to go out dancing Friday and Saturday nights until 1 a.m. every week. Met my current hubby, Max, and we went together for 15 years before getting married last July (2009). Now our Friday and Saturday nights consist of getting to bed by 10 or 11 p.m. That could be a matter of age more than getting married!!! I retired from my job as a fraud investigator with the State of Indiana after 34 years of employment in 2009. I dearly and totally love retirement!
