Candi's Story
After leaving AHS in the spring of 74, I went to Western Michigan University and graduated in the spring of 78. I subbed for a year and coached cheerleading and track at Columbia High School and then got a job teaching reading at Deckerville Jr. Sr. High. I coached cheerleading and track there too. I got layed off the next spring as schools were cutting way back and people were leaving Michigan. eam, and tennis. I also got my Master's of Education during this time. I then went to Cage Elementary and taught elementary P.E. and reading for another 9 years. During this time I married and had identical twin sons. In the spring of 2000 I resigned my job, sold my house, and moved back to Michigan. I then got a teaching job at Addison High School. I had to go back to school and get a special education endorsement in Learning Disabilities. I got that from Spring Arbor University. I have been teaching there for 9 years.
