Hmmm....the past 40 years have gone very quickly...even amidst some very slow weeks at times. I went to nursing school after graduation at what was then Utah Technical College, and started a job at the LDS hospital in Salt Lake while still in school, which I continued after graduation. Not long after graduation I met my husband-to-be, Dennis Jensen from Logan, Utah. We dated for two years before marrying and moving to Logan, which meant a transfer to the Logan Regional Hospital. (Hard transfer ...since they were way behind the times in medical care) Continued to work full time until my first son was born. Spent the next few years working here and there and being mom to 3 additional sons... proud to be able to always be at home with them in their waking hours. We also started a silkscreening business- of electronic enclosures thru those years so there was a lot to do to keep up with, and which our boys were a great deal of help with as they grew. I did more nursing at LRH and nursing homes and also Hospice nursing (my favorite) through the years as my sons grew a bit older. Finished my nursing career in 1994, after beginning some serious health problems. But instead had the opportunity to be a grandma at home again raising more boys (now almost 16 and twins 12 years old)...most days thru the evening. Great times and worth hanging a...Expand for more
