Life
Married my college sweetheart. Jim & I met while he was a student at Rutgers and I at Douglass. 39 years and 2 children later, we are still together. In 1999 we started a little Internet business that Jim and I thought would be something we would do on the side. Little did we know how many people would welcome the chance to buy non-pierced earrings when a wide range of attractive styles was offered. Now I work fulltime as CliptomaniaÂs CEO, Christy, its Customer Relations Manager, is working on a degree in Business Administration and Jim splits his time equally between marketing Cliptomania and his work in the insurance field. And we have 3 employees. Not only is Cliptomania growing by leaps and bounds, but the Kelley School of Business at IU uses Cliptomania as a case study of a successful entrepreneurial Internet business. Non-profit management experience has proven to be a great foundation from which to start and grow a new business!
