Candy's Story
I can't tell you the wildest thing I did in school but a group of us were aids our senior year and we would sneak out in the afternoon and go play tennis at Wyandotte County Lake.
Hum, my obsessions are my family, travel, art, camping, and reading right now.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my garage into an art studio and add on a couple of floors for apartments that I could rent out. I have my dream city home. I would like a country place somewhere where I could have a railroad garden, build a bailhouse, you know, do Mother Earth News stuff.
What I've learned ...Expand for more
from my kids--patience and now that they are grown I just sit back and watch their antics like it is a soap opera!
My first job was at Jack Denzer Black & White Custom Photography, where I got paid 3.65$ per hour to run the front office, take in orders, send out invoices, enlarge and sepia tone photos, dry and package all the photos Jack developed. They were very busy and responsible days. What I remember most about it is that I felt stressed all the time. I was so new to working that I thought everyone worked that hard. When I quit they replaced me with two people!
