Candy's Story
Life
I have lived in Blairsville, GA, since 1978. Harrison and I have been married 35 years. My two children are grown and married. James and his wife Kristin have three boys: Trey - born 11/18/02, , Denver - born 5/18/04, and Gabe - born 12/20/05. Melanie and her husband Eric Zufall have two children: a little girl, Sandra Grace - born 12/16/03 and a little boy, Reuben Bradley - born 4/21/08. Harrison is retired but very active as pastor of our church, in mission trips, in raising cattle and in hunting whenever deer and turkey seasons are open. t a primary school with a friend who retired to do the same. So, I work every other week, and have the best of both worlds - retirement and working to make some extra money in a job I love! I have begun to go through my archives of photos and try to do some digital scrapbooking. Not sure I'll be successful!
As Harrison and I are empty nesters, feel free to visit anytime! We have lots of room!
Workplace
I began working at Lawnwood Elementary in Ft. Pierce as a teacher in 1973. After moving to Ga. in 1978, I worked as a teacher until 1997 when I became asst. principal. I am still asst. principal of Union Co. Primary School.
