Candyce's Story
Hi to all who are interested in me:
I have one child who is really a 20 year old young adult - his name is Kevin and we have always said "kevin from heaven!" So you can see I am thrilled with my son! I was married for five years when I was 22 to my college sweetheart and unfortunately we just didn't last long but at 34 I married my present husband Patrick and we have been happily married for 24 years! He is a music teacher and still works in his middle school - we met at our elementary teaching school and I also was a teacher of 33 years and retired happily! I finished two years of retirement and total bliss! My dad died 15 years ago and my mom is still with us at 88! Watching a parent age is a difficult thing as they are not the parent we remember them to be!

in Medford and basically have not left Long Island except to go the University of Bridgeport for four years. I guess since I never left our hometown being part of all our reunion committees is a fun and easy thing to do! I love seeing old friends and reminiscing about the past! I think we are finally beyond our high school fears and hang ups and we can all just get together and enjoy each other!
This weekend, August 2008, we are having our 40th reunion and I am so anxious to see my old pals and make some new ones. I am a people person and being retired makes you be one even more!
I welcome anyone who remembers me either as a school buddy or student of mine to write and drop me a line to say hello! I promise to respond asap!
