Cara's Story
Life
I graduated in June 2008 from Oregon State University with a degree in Animal Sciences/Animal Behavior. I got married on September 17, 2011 to my long-time boyfriend, John, who I met Sophomore year at OSU. We live together with our two cats, Indy and Roxy, in the metro-area and I'm currently working at the OHSU - Oregon National Primate Research Center.
School
I'll be honest, I didn't care for high school much, nor did I like Stayton itself. SHS did offer a nice variety of classes which I think was one it's strongest aspects. My favorite classes were pretty much every Lit class I was able t...Expand for more
o take, 3d Art Design, Zoology, Botany, Wood shop, and Algebra 1. The most influential teachers for me were Mr. Dougherty, Mr. Geist, Mr. Les and Brunk Conely, and of course Ms. AJ :)
College
I started my Freshman year at Oregon State University in Fall Term 2003 and graduated in Winter Term 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with an option in Animal Behavior/Bioethics. I absolutely loved college and it was a great move both socially and academically. I have awesome, long lasting memories and learned more than just what I wanted to do with my life in college; it was really great.
