Cara's Story
I was a sophomore at Stevenson High, and only went for a year. I then transfered over to Utica where I was only there for half a year, I moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and live in Calumet. I did live in Stockton, CA for 14 months after I graduated in 1989 and worked as a Nanny. I returned to the UP to take care of my grandfather who had brain cancer, and at the same time met my husband John. In October of 2006 during our 1st snow storm I lost control of my 3/4 ton crew cab chev truck, hit a tree, and then went thru a house. I have undergone 8 surgeries, with the last being May 7 of 2009, where I had rods and pins and plates installed into my lower back. I am now on disability because I can no longer move my left arm and because of the back. I would love to see everyone that I knew and am really looking for Wendy Werkman, so if anyone can find her, please have her contact me.
